As of October 14th, 2025, opting to continue with the Windows 10 operating system may not be a wise option for most businesses. - Better Support for Hybrid Work: Windows 11 is designed with remote work in mind, offering better integration with Microsoft Teams and enhanced multitasking features, which are useful for professional environments.
- Software and Feature Updates: Windows 11 will continue to receive updates which may not be available to users of older Windows versions like Windows 10. These updates include security patches, new features, and performance improvements.
- Future-Proofing: As Microsoft gradually phases out support for older versions of Windows, upgrading ensures you stay on a supported, stable, and secure platform for years to come.
That being said, it can be a daunting task to upgrade a large quantity of devices to a new operating system.
